Venti provides incredible crowd control for smaller enemies and rapid Swirls through his Elemental Burst, plus RES Shred via 4pc Viridescent. He also provides energy for the team if his Burst absorbs an element, filling up everyone's Burst faster. Although unlike Kazuhe or Sucrose, he doesn't provide DMG Bonus or EM buffs for the team which lowers his value a bit.
