The Trailblazer is a Physical element character who follows the Path of Destruction. They excel at dealing solid Physical DMG, especially when using their enhanced attacks, which are activated through their Ultimate.

Best Cavern Relics

(2) Increases CRIT Rate by 8%.
(4) Increases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25%.
This set is relatively good for the Trailblazer as it enhances both their Skill and Ultimate—two core parts of their damage rotation. It helps amplify their consistent damage output, especially since they frequently rely on these abilities to trigger their enhanced attacks.
(2) Increases Physical DMG by 10%.
(4) After the wearer attacks or is hit, their ATK increases by 5% for the rest of the battle. This effect can stack up to 5 time(s).
This set is still good for the Trailblazer since their skill can hit up to 3 enemies, allowing them to build ATK% boost stacks quickly. However, its overall effect still falls short compared to the stronger buffs provided by the Scholar of Lost in Erudition set.

Best Planar Ornaments

(2) Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When the wearer's SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12%/18% more DMG.
This set offers the best damage amplification for the Trailblazer, especially when aiming to boost their Skill and Ultimate. However, its full effect is locked behind a 160 SPD requirement. While Trailblazer may not naturally reach this on their own, they can meet the threshold by pairing with SPD-boosting allies, making it a viable option in the right team composition.
(2) Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 70% or higher, the wearer's Basic ATK and Skill DMG increase by 20%.
Reaching 70% Crit Rate allows the Trailblazer to consistently land critical hits, which is essential for activating this set’s effect. Once triggered, it amplifies the damage of both their Basic Attack and Skill, significantly boosting their overall damage output.
(2) Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer's ATK increases by an extra 12%.
This set is particularly good for the early game, providing a solid boost to stats. However, it falls short compared to other planar ornaments available later on, which offer stronger effects and better synergy with the Trailblazer’s kit.

Substats
CRIT DMG / CRIT Rate / ATK% / SPD
For Physical Trailblazer, the ideal stat priority revolves around maximizing their damage through Crit Rate and Crit DMG, aiming for the standard 1:2 ratio to ensure consistent and powerful hits with their Skill and Enhanced Basic ATK. ATK% is another crucial stat that boosts both their main damage-dealing abilities. Speed (SPD) is also valuable, as it helps them take more turns, build energy faster, and rotate their Ultimate more frequently. For main stats, it's best to use Crit Rate or Crit DMG on the body, SPD on the feet, Physical DMG Boost on the planar sphere, and ATK% or Energy Regeneration Rate on the rope, depending on how frequently you want to use their Ultimate.

Best Light Cones

SourceBattle Pass
Massacre
Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 12~20%. The Skill DMG and Ultimate DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 24~40%.
This is currently the Trailblazer’s best Light Cone, as it boosts their Crit Rate along with Skill and Ultimate DMG. Superimposing it further increases these bonuses, making it one of the best options for maximizing their overall damage output.
SourceHerta's Store
Moth To Flames
When the wearer attacks, increases their ATK by 8~16% in this battle. This effect can stack up to 4 time(s). After the wearer breaks an enemy's Weakness, increases DMG dealt by 12~24%, lasting for 2 turn(s).
On the Fall of an Aeon is a free-to-play Light Cone available through Herta’s Shop, and its Superimposers can also be redeemed from the same place. The Trailblazer benefits from its stacking ATK buff, which builds with each attack. However, the bonus DMG boost is only activated after triggering a Weakness Break, making it more situational in certain fights.
SourceStellar Warp, Light Cone Event Warp, Starlight Exchange, Stellar Convergence
Kinship
Increases the wearer's ATK by 24~40%. When the wearer defeats an enemy or is hit, immediately restores HP equal to 8~12% of the wearer's ATK. At the same time, the wearer's DMG is increased by 24~40% until the end of their next turn. This effect cannot stack and can only trigger 1 time per turn.
Aside from the ATK boost it provides, the Trailblazer can fully maximize this Light Cone’s effect since its stacks build simply by hitting enemies, which aligns well with their frequent attacks.
SourceStellar Warp, Departure Warp, Character Event Warp, Light Cone Event Warp
Rye Under the Sun
Increases the wearer's ATK by 16~32%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, the wearer's CRIT Rate increases by 12~24% for 3 turn(s).
This set provides a solid ATK boost, but the Crit Rate bonus only activates after the Trailblazer defeats an enemy, making it less consistent in longer or boss fights.

Fantastic Adventure
When the wearer uses Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate to attack enemies, the wearer gains one stack of Mischievous. Each stack increases the wearer's ATK by 12~24%.
Fully maximizing this Light Cone's effect requires the Trailblazer to use their Basic ATK, Skill, and Ultimate, meaning the buff is typically fully stacked by their 2nd or 3rd turn. This delayed ramp-up makes it less appealing for endgame content like Memory of Chaos and Apocalyptic Shadow, where faster clears are necessary to achieve the highest star ratings.
